If you have read this blog for very long you know that I get on kicks when it comes to fashion. I don’t care for a lot out there, but the few things I adore I become obsessed with. Like my craving for Wellies. And no, I still have not snagged myself a pair – working on it. Or perhaps my attraction to wide leg trouser denim. Oh yes. I jumped on a fabulous pair from Guess when I saw they were marked down online and they are sitting in my closet, tags and all, waiting for me to wear them. Why? Oh yes, those few pounds I need to shed in order to fit the smaller size I bought as motivation. I know, I know. But have no fear. I have big plans to sport them this coming Fall.
But my current obsession? Three words. Sperry Top-Siders. Perhaps the most all-american, classic style shoe I have seen and they look ridiculously comfortable. As a mother of three, I crave for a stylish yet functional wardrobe. This area of my life probably needs a bit of attention at the moment and with the warmer weather fast approaching here in the Arizona desert, I am considering these a need. A far cry from the usual leather boots you see me in, but I have decided to embrace a little change and check these out for myself.

Now for the most important question… which pair to get?

Lydia - For some reason Sperrys popped up on my radar a few months ago, and I’ve been wanting a pair!
PS Just cleaning out my google reader today, and realized I haven’t been getting your updates for months! No idea why!
Lindsey McClennahan - Wellllll one time I heard somewhere you didn’t have to wear socks with this because they were aerated and did well with moisture.
Lies.
I love these shoes.
But my nose doesn’t
; )
Laura - Oh how I have adored these shoes for so long. I bought my 10 year old daughter a pair and she loves them, they look great with a pair of skinny jeans… on her. On me I’m not sure how to wear them, that’s why I’ve put off buying a pair. One of the families I do daycare for is obsessed with these shoes; their 3 year old daughter has 3 pair and the dad wears them exclusively. So I asked him how to wear them even in the winter (here in NE it’s winter 7 months out of the year). He said they work for all seasons. We’ll see. Oh, and my mom recently got a pair and says they are incredibly comfy! Now my mom AND daughter have a pair… I MUST get on board with this! :)
Dennis - Ive been eying the mens line and will need to pick some up! Good luck choosing!
